Event planner by day and travel advisor/shuffleboard extraordinaire by night. I am the queen of finding unique things to do, whether that's staying local in my city of Chicago or around the world.
ORD but Midway has its charms.
My travel style
I will spend hours researching to find the most unique and unusual things to do that are off-the-beaten-path. There is something unique about any and every destination, and I intend to help you find it.
A hip pick in two landmark buildings in Wicker Park, with unique bunk and loft rooms that groups love.
Dream Inn PR
Modern property nearby Ocean Park Beach with contemporary rooms and suites.
Grand Hyatt Nashville
Polished property close to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum with sophisticated rooms and suites.
$100 hotel / resort credit.
Upgrade & extended check-in/out, whenever possible.
Recently returned from:
Trekking through the snow in the Isle of Skye.
Beach bumming in Puerto Rico.
Kayaking in UP Michigan.
Recreating my Sound of Music dreams in Salzburg.
Japan to eat all of the things.
Trying out my camping skills (or lack thereof) in the PNW.
Snacking on potica in Slovenia.
Walking in Frodo's footsteps in New Zealand.
One thing I can't travel without...
Nail clippers. They are small and easy to forget to pack but very much needed when you chip a nail and there's no Walgreens around.
Two truths, one lie:
I had a passport for four years before I actually used it for the first time.
My go-to beverage of choice is tea.
I've taken a sword fighting class in a brewery.
