My travel style
I mostly travel with my kids – once a year in luxury and then various smaller trips at hotels and Airbnbs. Four Seasons in Hawaii is my go-to destination for special family trips. Other than that, it usually involves cultural experiments, such as Italy, France, Hawaii or Asia for an entire month in the summer.
Four Seasons Resort Hualalai
The Big Island’s standout resort on the quiet Kona-Kohala coast, home to an enormous spa, lauded golf course and raft of family-friendly activities.
When you book Four Seasons through Fora, you will enjoy exclusive Four Seasons Preferred Partner benefits. Your advisor will be pleased to give you more details.
Park Hyatt New York
A superlative stay in the heart of Midtown, with luxe interiors, floor-to-ceiling city views, A-game service and a high-floor indoor pool.
$100 food / beverage credit.
Upgrade & extended check-in/out whenever possible.
The Shilla Seoul
Behind the medieval city walls, Seoul’s original luxury hotel is an enduring favorite for its three-Michelin-starred restaurant, elegant rooms and swimming pools.
Recently returned from:
Living like the locals in Hawaii for seven weeks.
Taking in art and history in Spain.
Exploring the countryside in Switzerland and Italy.
Returning to South Africa with the kids.
Visiting family in Australia.
One thing I can't travel without...
Makeup kits, especially moisturizer.
Two truths, one lie:
I drove to Orlando, FL in the middle of August without knowing how boring the drive would be and how hot the weather would be.
My son tried octopus in South Korea when he was five years old.
I went up to the top of Jungfrau, Switzerland with shorts on when it was freezing and snowing.
