My Story
New York City-based. Food obsessed. History buff. Always planning my next hop across the pond.
My Travel Style
Will always fly for food and good wine. I have a background in food and believe it's the ultimate facilitator of community and culture. To know a city is to know it's food and I prioritize getting a local taste when I travel. I love a good book by the pool, exploring historical ruins or walking around exploring the city and shops.

Alison went above and beyond to help find us a fabulous hotel for our vacation in Paris! She also recommended delicious restaurants, activities and experiences. Can't wait to plan our next trip with her! Thanks!

Alison took my group of three’s different needs into consideration. She made three great suggestions so we went with the one closest to the city center with a view. We enjoyed working with her. She also can make great restaurant reservations. It is great to work with her cause she really cares about her clients’ experience!

Alison was incredibly helpful in selecting the right place to stay for my trip. The options she curated were all impressive and she guided me to the right choice by staying at the Condado Vanderbilt. Additionally, her recommendations for dining were outstanding and I thoroughly enjoyed every meal that was recommended in San Juan. I definitely plan on going to Alison to help plan my next vacation.

Alison made our whole trip to Porto wonderful. From booking the great hotel, to arranging an amazing tour of the Douro Valley, and suggesting some delicious restaurants, she helped make sure that our entire stay was special. On top of everything, Alison's planning felt easy on our end and the trip was seamless once we got there. Will absolutely use her again!

Five Days in Portugal
Portugal is a charming country, full of friendly people, incredible food, and beautiful scenery. It’s also a more affordable place to visit in Europe, while still offering true luxury. If you have never been, plan to go to Porto and Lisbon on your first trip. You’ll be back!

Why London is the Perfect European Launch Pad
Ah Londontown! Truly one of my favorite cities for so many reasons. Not only is London a melting pot full of rich history, culture and incredible food, but it is the perfect launch pad for a bigger Euro trip. Whenever I am heading across the pond I always stop in London for a few days and then head to my next destination.
As a New Yorker there is something familiar about the bustling streets in London, but what makes London more magical is the juxtaposition of buildings, from The Tower of London which has been standing for over 1,000 years to The Gherkin which has only been around for 20 years. It’s worth the extra stop to add London to your itinerary and oftentimes flying on to your text European destination will be cheaper.
Here are some of my suggestions from my many trips over the years.

A Foodie's Guide to Florence
Florence holds a special place in my heart. Not only have I visited many times throughout the years on family trips, but I was fortunate enough to study abroad there and pretend like I was a local for four months. If you’ve never been to Italy, Florence is a great way to ease into visiting the country, as it’s very tourist friendly. If you’ve been before and crossed most of the tourist sights off your list, then consider visiting and planning around food and wine.
