Lawyer and founder of Filtered Travel, an Oslo-based boutique travel consultancy.
Travel Style
We're passionate about properties with soul and character, and a strong sense of place, preferably family-owned. We have a particular focus on architecture, design, and craft, and we place great emphasis on working with local partners outside the travel industry. We are well connected and book worldwide, but specialize in Japan, the Alpine region (especially winter skiing), The Balearic Islands, and of course Scandinavia, where we are based.

Superb planning and communication. We felt well taken care of, and that Thomas had a strong interest in our wishes and our thinking around what an ideal travel arrangement look like. Compliments for his ability and willingness to bring forward interesting activities, places to discover and useful tips and tricks for our holiday. My friend and I just returned from an unforgettable trip to Ibiza — and we truly couldn’t have done it without Thomas! From our very first conversation, he took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for: a perfect balance of relaxation, fun, and amazing food. He found the ideal hotel for us in a beautiful location and curated a list of unique restaurants and experiences that matched our style perfectly.
Every detail was so thoughtfully planned — from travel tips to hidden gems we never would’ve discovered on our own. You could tell he put his heart into every recommendation. Everything ran seamlessly, and we felt completely cared for from start to finish.
Thomas even checked in during our trip to make sure everything was going smoothly, which we truly appreciated. Our getaway was absolutely perfect thanks to his expertise and passion for creating meaningful travel experiences. We’re already dreaming about our next adventure — and we’ll definitely be planning it with Thomas!

Great taste and exceptional attention to detail sum up our experience with Thomas and his team at Filtered Travel. Our trip through Singapore, Langkawi, and Kuala Lumpur was a huge success. He thought of everything and came up with creative ideas, down to details like choosing the best airport to connect through on the way there. Flying via Zürich with Swiss and spending the layover swimming in the lake was brilliant advice. His local recommendations, such as taking a morning walk at MacRitchie Reservoir in Singapore, were fun and genuinely authentic (we almost felt like Singaporeans!). And he truly has an eye for outstanding hotels. We couldn’t have asked for a better advisor.

We used Thomas and Filtered Travel to help plan our family summer vacation, and we’re so glad we did. Thomas is clearly well-connected in Switzerland, and our stay there—especially in Verbier—was fantastic! The attention to detail, from parking instructions to hotel and restaurant recommendations, was truly impressive.
We felt so well taken care of throughout our trip, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this was our best and most stress-free family vacation yet. 10/10 — highly recommend!
