Planned spontaneity. I love a good “skeleton” itinerary. We have the logistics, the dinner reservation that requires a month’s notice, and the logistics handled—but the daytime is left open for intentional wandering. If we see a side street with interesting murals or hear music coming from a basement, we’re following that lead every time.
