My Travel Style
Travel has long been my greatest teacher, shaping how I understand the world and the connections we share across cultures. I put that belief into action by using the world as my classroom, traveling extensively while earning my degree in Sustainable Tourism. Along the way, I sought out experiences that aligned with my passion for meaningful, community-based travel. I specialize in curating trips that are eye-opening, immersive, and rooted in sustainability. Whether it’s staying in family-run B&Bs, participating in local traditions, or discovering the soul of a place through its people and food, I believe travel is most powerful when it supports local communities and fosters real cultural connection. My goal is to help you explore the world in a way that’s authentic, enriching, and unforgettable!

My booking experience with Mariana was truly exceptional. Not only did she deliver a detailed, well-packed itinerary as requested, but she was also incredibly easy to reach throughout every stage of the trip. Mariana's knowledge of Newport's best activities, shops, and restaurants was impressive and incredibly helpful.
While I wish I could list everything we did, I’ll highlight a few of my favorites. We kicked off the trip with a scenic cliff walk that led us to a tour of the Breakers mansion...absolutely stunning and rich with history. We also spent time at one of the beaches Mariana recommended, and it exceeded expectations. The beach was clean, well-staffed with lifeguards, and alive with surfers and water sports, which made for a fun and lively atmosphere.
Mariana even pointed me to the best lobster roll in Newport, which can be found at The Mooring. It is an absolute must try. To cap off our incredible trip, she booked us a breathtaking sunset sail boat tour on the Madeline.
My experience working with Mariana stands out from any other travel guide I’ve used. From the beautifully presented itinerary to her thoughtful recommendations and seamless communication, I truly couldn’t have asked for more. From vision board to real life, Santa Teresa will always be one of those “meant to be” places for me. After three years of traveling and working around the world while juggling life as a full-time college student, I found myself unsure of where to head next. I had just wrapped up a fast-paced semester living and working in the hustle and bustle of Paris, and I was craving something… different. Something slower, wilder, more connected to nature. I didn’t have a specific destination in mind, just a feeling. And somehow, that random “Costa Rica beach” photo I had cut out and pasted on my 2024 vision board ended up becoming my reality. One month later, I was living and working in Santa Teresa (which so happened to be the exact beach in the photo on my vision board!), and everything just clicked.
