My Story
With over ten years in luxury travel and events, my background blends creative direction and boutique events creation, and I bring that same intentionality into every journey I design. I'm inspired by the nuance of a place, the feeling of a city at dusk, a well-poured glass of wine, the rhythm of local life. My work is rooted in curiosity, taste, and a deep respect for the destinations my clients explore. Originally from Iowa, I’m currently based in Biarritz, France, I curate travel and retreats for creative individuals, founders, and brands who value meaning as much as luxury.
Travel Style
I think the best trips start with a feeling, a place you can’t quite explain, but know you need to find. I’m drawn to places that feel like a mood: boutique stays with depth, winding dinners that turn into memories, and experiences rooted in culture, creativity, and story. Every trip I build is bespoke, shaped by feeling, aesthetic, and an intuitive sense of flow. Whether it’s a founder needing a reset, a brand curating a retreat, or a traveler chasing something just a bit off-script, I create journeys that feel like they were meant for you.

I use Mackenzie to book my monthly business trips to London. Everything is always smooth and flawless. All check-ins are very fast. Hotels recommendations are great. I first needed one close to Paddington as I needed to commute for a meeting, location was ideal. Then stay at 100 Shoreditch, great hotel.
Mackenzie even managed to get a breakfast deal, great prices and quality (much cheaper than a la carte option was on site). Overall great rates. I will use Mackenzie again and strongly recommend her service for any trips!

Mackenzie was a lifesaver we didn’t even know we needed. She went above and beyond handling international flight changes, arranging the perfect hotel for us, and coordinating with staff to make sure everything was seamless. When we had a last minute booking that felt overwhelming, she handled it without hesitation, taking the stress off our plates so we could enjoy our trip. We couldn’t have asked for better service and are planning our honeymoon with her now!
