My Story
Hi, I’m Lysette—a travel advisor with Fora, and someone who truly believes the best trips are the ones you’ll talk about forever.
I’ve always loved planning travel. Long before this became my career, I was the go-to person for friends and family—researching destinations, finding amazing places to stay, and building itineraries that balanced fun, adventure, and just the right amount of relaxation. What started as something I did out of pure joy naturally grew into helping others plan trips that feel meaningful, exciting, and easy.
I specialize in milestone trips—birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, celebrations, and “we finally did it” kind of travel. These are the trips that deserve extra thought, great experiences, and a little bit of wow. My style is luxury-leaning but approachable: elevated hotels, thoughtful details, and special touches, without anything feeling stiff or overplanned.
A big part of what I love (and do best) is planning activities and excursions. Luxury, to me, isn’t just about the hotel—it’s about what you do while you’re there. Whether that’s adventure, culture, wellness, or something totally unique, I help build trips that feel full, fun, and unforgettable.
I’m also a big foodie, and I believe food is one of the best ways to experience a destination. From local favorites and must-try spots to hidden gems and special dining experiences, I love weaving food into each itinerary—whether that means casual eats, cultural food experiences, or a memorable night out.
I bring strong destination knowledge in Puerto Rico, Hawaii, the Philippines, Thailand, Jamaica, Washington State, and California, and I love creating trips that let clients experience these places beyond the obvious. From island adventures and cultural moments in the Philippines, to beach days and outdoor experiences in Hawaii, vibrant excursions in Jamaica, and curated city or coastal escapes throughout California, I design itineraries that feel well-paced, personal, and intentional.
Before becoming a travel advisor, I worked in fast-paced, client-focused roles, which taught me how important communication, organization, and attention to detail really are. I bring that same care into every trip I plan, so you feel supported from start to finish.
As a Fora travel advisor, I’m also able to offer access to preferred partners, special perks, and elevated experiences that make a great trip even better. My goal is simple: to take the stress out of planning and help you enjoy the process.
If you’re planning a milestone trip, craving a little adventure, or just want something that feels special without feeling overwhelming, I’d love to plan it with you.
Travel Style
My travel style is best described as elevated, fun, and experience-driven—with great food always part of the plan.
I love designing trips that feel special without feeling stiff. Think beautiful hotels, thoughtful details, and well-paced itineraries that leave room to explore, relax, and enjoy the destination. I lean toward luxury-adjacent travel: elevated stays, great service, and meaningful experiences, all while keeping things approachable and stress-free.
I’m especially drawn to milestone trips—celebrations, once-in-a-lifetime moments, and trips you’ve been dreaming about for a while. These deserve more than a basic itinerary, so I focus on experiences that create real memories: unforgettable excursions, adventure, culture, and those “this was so worth it” moments.
I’m also a big foodie, and I believe some of the best memories are made around a table. From must-try local spots and iconic restaurants to hidden gems and can’t-miss dining experiences, I love weaving food into each itinerary in a way that feels authentic to the destination—whether that’s casual street food, local favorites, or a special night out.
Above all, my planning style is collaborative and intentional. I listen closely to how you want your trip to feel, then build something that fits your pace, your priorities, and your travel style—so you can travel confidently and enjoy every moment.
If you’re looking for a trip that’s thoughtfully planned, a little elevated, full of great experiences, and definitely includes good food, we’ll be a great fit.
