Working with Lisa was an absolute pleasure. She planned an exceptional trip for us and carefully selected accommodations that perfectly matched our preferences. We enjoy staying in smaller, boutique-style properties and her selections exceeded our expectations.

A Week-Long Itinerary in Guatemala: City and Nature
Guatemala. Volcanos, Mayan culture, crystal blue lakes, incredible markets... the list goes on and on. It is such a picturesque country, and the people are so friendly. Start in Antigua, well known for its architecture, ruins of colonial churches and cobblestoned streets. Move onto Chichicastenango to experience a local market unlike any other, continuing onto Lake Atitlan. This lake is widely considered one of the most beautiful in the world, surrounded by three volcanoes and known for the unique towns around the lake. San Pedro La Laguna is not to be missed for shopping and exploring.

5 Night Coastal Getaway to Zihuatanejo, Mexico
Zihuatanejo is a charming coastal Mexican town with many different beaches and a lovely old town with narrow streets, shops and restaurants. I loved that we were able to fly direct from Los Angeles, hop in a taxi and be at our hotel within twenty minutes, toes in the sand, already ordering tacos and margaritas. It is a perfect five-day vacation, as you don't want to leave the beach for at least three days, which leaves one to go out fishing and snorkeling with one of the local boat captains and another to stroll along the beach walk with dozens of cafés and bars, followed by a massage and dinner overlooking the ocean. Ixtapa is a quick drive if you want to check out a nearby town, but we felt no need to do so as Zihuatanejo was perfect.
