I love nature and exploring new places. While I enjoy backpacking, since I've gotten married with kids, we do more typical family style adventures. My wife and kids are from Brazil, so we make trips to Brazil when we can. Try new foods, talk to the locals, learn the culture. Whatever your style, live life to the fullest!

This mountain is special to those like me who live in Portland. On a clear day we see it and say, "The mountain is out." And we like driving there when we have time. Whether skiing, snowboarding, sledding, hiking or just hanging out and taking photos, this mountain, Timberline Lodge and Government Camp are great places to travel!

Ilhabela is an amazing place for hanging out at the beach, eating Brazilian food or just relaxing. It feels safer than the city, and the vibe is local and Brazilian. While there are a lot of visitors there, it doesn't feel overrun by tourists. I love the idea of eating good food at a calm beach on a warm evening. This place has exactly that.
