Donna Lebowitz

We had an excellent experience with Donna Lebowitz! We gave her a preferred price range at the start, which I thought would be tough to fulfill. But she gave us several options, and we liked the hotel.

I am so grateful that we reached out to Donna. We started planning on our own but Japan is such a different country - language wise, culturally, we quickly became overwhelmed and totally frustrated. Our thought was that it’s an expensive trip, we are unlikely to visit a second time, we really wanted our trip to fulfill our hopes and tick the boxes we had in mind. How do you plan efficiently? Is this stay too long or too short? What’s reasonable? We had never used a travel agent - but thank heavens we called Donna! Specifically, Donna asked great questions about us and our interests, our wish lists, our budget, etc etc. Then she went about creating a travel plan that made sense, identified travel “experiences” (events/tours) and hotel accommodations that fit our interests and budget. The planning process was a collaborative and positive experience and we were delighted with the results. We had a blast!! I am more than happy to leave the stress of planning with Donna and I would be 100% in favor of using her expertise again!

Donna was just the tonic we needed - she relieved us of all the stress we had been feeling over planning our trip to Japan. She patiently took the time to interview us, listen and distill the kind of accommodation and experiences we would enjoy during our trip. She offered varying suggestions on what to do and what to schedule in advance. It was definitely an advantage that she had personal knowledge from her own travel experiences. Donna provided a detailed itinerary, including suggestions for possible things to do for times we did not want to schedule ahead of our visit. For pre-planned activities, she did all the heavy lifting and made sure that everything was set up and paid. When we did have an issue meeting a tour guide in Japan, Donna was available live on a Saturday evening in the US to help resolve the problem and made sure that we ended up having a great experience. We were so glad that we engaged Donna to guide us through our vacation!

We were provided a few recommendations of places to stay in Tuscany but with the help of Donna we were able to narrow It down to Borgo San Vincenzo. Donna did her due diligence in reaching out and speaking to them answering all our many questions and providing a complete detailed itinerary of experiences along with directions for driving! We were reassured this was an incredible place to stay and Donna was absolutely right!
