My Story
I’ve spent my career teaching how to read the world, and now, I’m helping you experience it! As a French and English Professor and Director of Study Abroad, I bridge the gap between academic curiosity and boots-on-the-ground exploration. From solo backpacking through France to orchestrating group journeys across Europe and the Americas, I design trips that prioritize authentic connection and seamless logistics. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a multi-generational family, or a group seeking a deeper narrative, I offer a journey that is a true lived experience of global citizenship. Some of my favorite destinations: Aix-en-Provence, France; New Orleans; Athens, Greece; Prince Edward Island, Canada; Cinque Terre, Italy; Costa Rica; Dublin, Ireland; Reykjavik, Iceland.
Travel Style
“I haven’t been everywhere, but it’s on my list.” - Susan Sontag
My vibe is less “tourist” and more “engaged observer” (intellectual exploration meets intentional immersion). I specialize in the “lived-in” experience, the kind where we trade the crowded landmarks for a charming courtyard, a historic bookstore, or the perfect espresso at a neighborhood bistro. My comfort zone is a balance of the refined and the raw: I am equally comfortable scouting a chic Paris boutique hotel, exploring rocky trails in Iceland, or navigating a bustling market in New Orleans.
My approach is grounded in a commitment to inclusive, safe, and accessible travel for all identities and ages. As such, I strive to create journeys that are as transformative as they are beautiful, ensuring every traveler feels like they truly belong in the destination they’re visiting.
