I remember the first time I took a cruise I had no idea what to pack. Now, after 25+ cruises, I have it down and hope this guide will help you to not stress over what to bring (or not to bring)!

I just had the chance to experience Evermore Orlando Resort, and what I loved most is how intentionally it’s designed around togetherness. I never imagined I’d enjoy an Alaskan cruise. I’ve always been more of a palm trees and beaches traveler. But when my family planned a trip in summer 2023, I couldn’t stand the thought of missing out and grabbed the very last cabin just weeks before departure. To my surprise, I completely fell in love with Alaska. The pace, the peace, and the breathtaking beauty were unlike anything I had ever experienced. That trip left me eager to return, which brought me back in 2025 for an unforgettable Alaska land and sea journey with Princess.

With flights being so volatile these days, most people choose to come in at least 1 day prior to the cruise. Your vacation should start from the moment you hit the ground in Florida! The Big Island of Hawaii is my personal favorite! Whether you want to see the green lush Hawaii or the dryer Lava Rock side of Hawaii, you get both on the Big Island! I've been there a couple of times, one time staying for almost a month! Even with all of this time we still weren't able to explore all there is to see and all the places there are to eat! I did a lot of research to find the best places with amazing gluten-free food in Hawaii!
