The Aerial Adventure Course is a network of balance beams, cargo nets, wobbly bridges and other challenges – all suspended 25 feet above the ground. The course offers a range of features with varying levels of difficulty to allow you to stretch your limits, both physically and mentally, while harnessed up and safely on belay. No experience necessary, the Aerial Adventure Course is great for kids and adults alike. You will have an hour to get harnessed and have as many laps as you want in that time.

Il Villaggio Osteria is reminiscent of the comfortable, community-focused restaurants that pepper the Italian countryside.

Grand Teton National Park’s diverse and vibrant ecosystem makes for a dream backyard playground. This six hour adventure is designed with kids in mind. The tour features wildlife tracking and viewing, and immersive kid-friendly activities accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide.
Your guide from Teton Science School's Wildlife Expeditions will pick you up at your hotel for a full day family adventure in Grand Teton National Park. Orsetto welcomes you to dine in its urban-casual setting and to enjoy an all-Italian wine list and favorites like richly flavored bolognese, veal chop marsala and homemade pasta.
Day 5: Big Sky
Head to your next destination
Known as “The Last Best Place,” The Resort at Paws Up may be just that. A pristine escape in the Rocky Mountains taking full advantage of Montana’s Big Sky countryside, this wilderness outpost offers something for all energy levels.
Explore the land on horseback, cast a fly for trout or simply indulge in spa treatments at Spa Town®. As for accommodations, you can choose from 28 luxurious vacation homes or you can experience upscale camping in one of 36 luxury tents with decadent furnishings, your own private bathroom and even the services of a camping butler. It is nature served on a silver platter.
Take a private trail ride
Time to cowboy up! From spectacular views of the legendary Blackfoot River and Jones Pond to sprawling meadows and endless conifer forests waiting to be explored, Paws Up features scenic equestrian experiences you won't get on any other Montana dude ranch horseback riding vacation. Whether you’re an experienced rider or you’ve never been horseback, you’ll lay eyes on historical and breathtaking sights during your unforgettable riding excursion.
Day 6: Active adventures
Actions speak louder than words – something that will become immediately apparent once you step into the ring with our wrangler and one of our ranch horses. This introductory session is designed to build mutual trust and respect between horse and human. Raise your hand too quickly or step forward too soon, and the horse will react or possibly even withdraw. You’ll become more aware and familiar with your own body language allowing you the opportunity to learn how to adjust your demeanor to better interact with the horse. As you become more familiar with the horse, you’ll find that the rhythm between the both of you is deeply satisfying.
Take a tour through our Montana archery range featuring 3D targets of native animals that you can hunt in Montana. Guests shoot compound bows and guides get you sighted-in prior to going out on the course which consists of 10 different stations set in the woods along with two elevated platforms to simulate a tree stand. Test your skills as a hunter or challenge your family to see who is the better shot. This is a two hour activity for ages six and up.
If you talk with your hands, then help them say something spectacular. Craft yourself a customized ring that speaks volumes about your personality. Join Peggy Wen, painter and jewelry designer, for this fun-filled workshop where you’ll choose from a wide variety of intriguing beads and eye-catching gems to create one of a kind, wire-wrapped art. Leave with a statement piece that fits and flaunts your style. All ages are welcomed and no experience is necessary.
Day 7: Skyline aerial adventure
Neatly tucked in the middle of the forest at The Resort at Paws Up, you’ll discover a new challenge for both mind and body - the Sky Line Aerial Adventure Park. The aerial rope courses in the park will push the boundaries of your comfort zone. On the Canopy Tour, you’ll guide yourself through 10 separate platforms complete with rickety bridges, spider nets, swinging platforms, tight ropes and a heart-pounding 40 foot free fall. For experienced climbers, the Challenge Course features spine tingling elements that are more difficult and higher off the ground including a quick drop that’s about 55 feet up in the air. You may think you’re nimble. You may tell yourself you have laser-like focus. You’ll only know for sure if you put yourself out there. The experience will leave you with a little more confidence or a little more humility. Either way, we’re sure you’ll get the hang of it and soon be coming back for more!
Need to Know
If you have more time, I highly recommend spending a few extra days at the Ranch at Rock Creek which offers a true west experience on 6,600 acres under the Montana sky. Outdoor adventures are available for the whole family with horseback rides, wildlife exploration, fly-fishing and more.
