Common concerns addressed

"I don't know how professional booking works."
That's exactly what training is for. Fora's training covers booking systems, supplier relationships, commission structures, client service, and marketing.

"Won't clients want someone with experience?"
Clients value service, trust, and personalization. Fora's tools and VIP supplier relationships help bridge experience gaps quickly. Many successful advisors started with zero industry background.

"I've never worked in sales or business."
Travel advising is relationship-driven, not sales-driven. If you can help someone plan a great trip and provide excellent service, you can succeed.

"Isn't this just an MLM?"
No. There is no requirement to recruit other advisors. Income is earned through bookings and client work, not downlines. The model is similar to a real estate brokerage.

FAQs

Is there an age limit?
Minimum age is 18. No maximum age.

Can I sign up with a preferred name?
Yes. Preferred name is fine for your profile. Use your legal name when asked for identity verification.

Do I need an LLC to join?
No. You can join as a 1099 independent contractor or through a legal entity. Consult a tax/legal professional for your situation.

Can I share my account with someone?
No. Each advisor must have a unique login. You can link multiple advisor accounts to the same LLC/bank account for payouts.

Can I get travel agent discounts immediately?
You get access to Fora's IATA number immediately for booking. A personal IATA Card—a physical credential accepted at hotels as proof of agent status for TA (travel agent) discount pricing—is reserved for Pro Advisors.
