Scotland-obsessed, architectural historian, art lover, dark academia, goth-loving cemetery explorer. LA-based, UK-addict, seeker of the next great bookshop.
BUR anytime it's feasible, LAX when it can't be helped.
My travel style
I love history and architecture, chasing the human past through the UK, spending time with stone, stained glass and in graveyards. Learning about life from generations past through unique, spooky, historical trips. Staying in luxurious and unique accommodation while being transported to another time where you can lose yourself and truly escape.
Cahernane House Hotel
A Killarney charmer with 48 characterful rooms in three wings, and a popular restaurant serving a local menu.
Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
In the Old Town, a comfy and central stay with family-friendly suites and a pool and restaurant.
Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel
A modern hotel with knockout city views and extra amenities at a next-door sister hotel.
Recently returned from:

Early morning pan dulce at LA's best Mexican bakeries.
Following the Emperor's footsteps in Vienna.
Drinking my way through the Scottish Highlands.

What’s one thing you can’t travel without?
I can't travel without my soft top waterproof boots.
Two truths, one lie:
I went on tour with the legendary punk band, The Damned.
I've been accused of witchcraft in Scotland.
I discovered a viking hoard on a metal detecting trip.
