My travel style

I am the self-proclaimed queen of solo traveling. I’m always hunting for the best places for luxury travel combined with unique local experiences. All of my trips are jam packed with adventure, romance and food – all without breaking the bank to do it. Just tell me your wish, and consider me your travel genie.

Favorite hotels

Midgardur Reykjavik

This modern hotel has a comfy Scandi style and central location close to all the city sights.

Corinthia Lisbon

Just outside the center, this elegant hotel has a spa, indoor pool, two restaurants, and fun courtyard bar.

Recently returned from:

  • Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and chasing giraffes and sunsets in Tanzania. 

  • Drinking tea and surfing in Morocco.

  • Having a spiritual awakening in a Mayan Village. 

  • Falling in love in Bordeaux with good wine, and even better cheese.

Dreaming of:

  • Egypt is calling my name.

  • Taking in the culture (and lots of Sushi) in Japan. 

  • Relaxing at the stunning beaches in Vietnam. 

  • Tasting the flavors of Nairobi.

What’s one thing you can’t travel without?

My camera – to take pictures of all the people I meet, and to remember my experiences.

Two truths, one lie:

  1. I have been to 30+ countries.

  2. I prefer beach trips to cold-weather locations. 

  3. I have traveled to 20+ countries by myself.
